Overview

Admissions and Records has moved to the new Student Union! We are excited to serve you at the new Student Union at the Joe & Charlene Cole Student Services counter. Our hours of operation are currently the same.


Rose State College has been notified by one of our vendors, the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC), that they were impacted by a cybersecurity event involving MOVEit Transfer, a third-party tool used by the NSC.  Students can find more information below.

Academic Accreditation

Rose State College is also accredited as a degree-granting institution by the Higher Learning Commission and individual programs.

Academic Advisement

The Academic Advisement office serves the needs of students who are attending college for the first time, enrolling concurrently while attending high school or are undecided on a major.

Academic Forgiveness

Currently enrolled students may be granted academic forgiveness by repeating individual courses or reprieving complete semesters.

Academic Status

At the end of each semester, students are placed into one of four academic level based upon their performance. 

Admission Requirements

Rose State College is a public, two-year institution with an "open-door" admissions policy. Any graduate of an accredited high school or non-graduate whose high school class has graduated is eligible for admission. 

Change Notice

Correct or change the name, Social Security number, address, your major, or phone number that the College has on file for you.

Degree Audit

If you're wondering how many hours you have or need to graduate, apply for an official audit.

Enrollment Verification

Students are frequently required to obtain enrollment verifications for private or government agencies.

Honor Rolls

Students who average a B (3.0) grade or higher are eligible for Honor Roll consideration.

Military Credit

You can receive Rose State credits for education received while serving in the military.

Prior Learning

Rose State awards extra-institutional credit through institutionally prepared exams and standardized national tests.

Retention Policies

Rose State College students are expected to maintain a cumulative, satisfactory GPA for the duration of his/her college experience. 

Transcripts

Students may request transcripts at any time in person, by fax or by mail. 

Transfers

Rose State maintains transfer agreements with other public and private Oklahoma institutions.

Tuition Residence

The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education provides guidelines for the classification of residence for students.
